Tui Na

Tui Na is a form of Chinese manipulative therapy, dating back to 1700 BC. The practitioner uses range of motion, traction and massage , with the stimulation of acupressure points. 

Designed to prevent problems by keeping the body’s energy in balance, optimum health is maintained physically, mentally and emotionally.   

The Tui Na practitioner uses her hands to assess energy distribution and flow in the client’s body.

Tui Na treats external disorders such as scoliosis, frozen shoulder syndrome, sprains and strains, herniated disks, headaches and sports injuries.  External diseases of the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and reproductive systems can all benefit from this therapy.

Tui Na acupressure massage may be administered in 30 or 60 minute sessions by a practicing aupuncturist or Chinese massage therapist.
