Thompson Technique

Developed by Dr. Clay Thompson and patented in 1957, the Thompson Technique uses a pneumatic drop table for chiropractic adjustments.

Using the Thompson Analysis and Adjusting technique, the practitioner determines if the subluxations are in the cervical or lumbosacral region.   This will determine the order of the adjustments and which end will be adjusted first.

The Thompson Drop Table quickly lowers the area of the spine being adjusted, enabling the practitioner to perform a quick thrust using minimal force.  The table drops and the joint targeted is quickly carried through its range of motion.

The Thompson Technique improves flexibility, strength, and posture. It assists with sleep, stress relief and an overall resistance to injury and general health improvement.

If you are looking for a technique involving very little force and no pain, look for Chiropractors who are Thompson Certified Practitioners.
