Chelsey is passionate about wellness and is a positive person whose lifestyle embraces complete body health. In 2009 she graduated from the 3000-hour diploma program at the WCCMT in Victoria. She loves inspiring and educating others on achieving balance in their health. Our bodies run optimally when they are supplied properly with what they need, including nutrition, water, exercise, rest, and reparative therapies. As for massage therapy, every body is unique, so each person requires customized treatments to reach their specific goals. Chelsey will take her client's health history, current condition, and personal preferences into consideration when creating their treatment plan. When indicated, she will also suggest other therapies or lifestyle changes that can help. As a healthcare professional, Chelsey takes a special interest in: postural imbalances, sports therapy, injury prevention, headaches, whiplash, back pain, restricted range of motion, pregnancy, TMJ dysfunctions, stress management, and working with children and teens. Among others techniques, Chelsey regularly uses: muscle energy techniques, trigger point therapy, isolitic release, deep tissue, contract-relax, joint mobilizations, passive stretching, Swedish massage, cross-fibre frictions, and fascial cupping as needed. She also offers aromatherapy and paraffin add-ons to enhance treatments. When she's not working, Chelsey enjoys spending quality time with her friends, family and kittens, going to the gym, hiking out in nature, practicing yoga, listening to guided meditations, shopping at local markets for healthy food, playing board games and cards, working on puzzles, going for self-care treatments and going for runs with her son.
